Scan your project

Your code stays yours

What happens to your code when Assure scans it.

Assure needs to read your code to check it. It only reads, it works in memory on its own servers in Denmark, and it deletes its copy when each scan ends.

Two scans before we ask for a card, both shown in full.

During a scan

Your code is only ever read, and only by the scan.

Read access only

Wherever your project is kept, on GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket or Azure DevOps, Assure asks only for permission to read the code. It makes no changes, and the update messages your code host sends it (webhooks) carry no code.

Read in memory, in Denmark

For each scan, Assure copies your code into memory (RAM) on its own servers in Denmark, never onto a disk, and checks it there. The scan runs automatically from start to finish, and only the software that checks your code reads it.

Deleted when the scan ends

When the scan ends, Assure keeps the results and deletes its copy of your code, even if the scan failed.

No outside AI

No outside AI service ever sees your code, and your code is never used to train any AI.

After a scan

Your results stay in your account, and only Assure handles them.

Only the results are kept

Assure keeps the score, the findings and where in your code each one is, sometimes with a short quote of the line in question, so you can follow your project from one scan to the next.

One outside company, for payments

Stripe Payments Europe, in Ireland, handles payments and never sees your code. It is the only outside company involved, and the scans before you add a card involve no outside company at all.

No tracking

Assure’s website and app use no analytics, advertising or tracking, and load nothing from other companies. That is why you never see a cookie banner.

When you want to stop

You can leave whenever you like, without asking anyone.

Stop your subscription

Stop it from your account at any time, with no email to anyone.

Disconnect a project

Disconnect a project and Assure stops scanning it straight away. Its results stay in your account, so its history is still there if you connect it again.

Close your account

Close your account from your account page. For 14 days you can change your mind. After that, your sign-in and your account details are erased for good. Invoices stay for the five years Danish bookkeeping law requires.
